Course Description:
MI 507 RELATIONAL AND OBJECT-ORIENTED DATABASES
Dr. Byron Davies introduces students to relational and object-oriented databases, trains students in Caché and mentors them through class projects. This class explores techniques and tools for structuring data, making data persistent, retrieving data, and using data in clinical activities.

Students specify, design and implement a medically relevant project using Caché as the underlying database.

Dr. Byron Davies has 20 years of experience with object-oriented development, and 3 years of experience with persistent object systems.
