Being founded in April 1992 the "University of Applied Science, Brandenburg" (FHB) was the first academic institution of Brandenburg City. The FHB provides four technical programs as well as nine technical fields of study among several economic orientied study courses. Currently there are about 1890 enrolled students, 534 of whom account for the department of "Computer Science & Media".

In line with the Caché Campus Program the FHB currently uses Caché for two different projects:
The department of "Computer Science & Media" provides a course called "Databases III" (7th semester), where the students will discuss Caché during two lessons; an employee of InterSystems will hold this presentation with the topic "InterSystems: Object-relational Features of Caché".
Some students of the same field of study have already begun using Caché for their project work. Both students and instructors have received a Caché Entrée training and are supported by InterSystems during the further course of the project.
