The Giessen-Friedberg University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1971 and provides 34 study courses overall: 19 of these study programs are offered in Giessen, the other ones in Friedberg. The University of Applied Sciences consists of 12 different departments which include electrical engineering, economy and computer science among other things.
Students focusing on business informatics will be offered the following lecture that deals with databases and software development the next semester: “Software Development – Methods and Tools”. A referee of InterSystems will hold a guest lecture called “Object-Oriented Modelling of Database Applications instancing Caché” in line with this lecture. The students will hereby be introduced into the general concepts of Caché.
