The university has one of the highest percentages of foreign students in German universities. More than 170 different courses are taught in 21 departments that run from law and medicine to physics, theology and many more.
In line with the Caché Campus Program the university uses Caché in academic classes as well as for the development of “Dr. Antonius”, a thesauri-based medical search engine. “Dr. Antonius” is being developed by the Center of Medical Computer Science which belongs to the university hospital (see www.zinfo.de for further information).
