Dr. Bruria Haberman is a professor in the Computer Science Department at the Holon Academic Institute of Technology (HIAT).
Since its establishment in 1969, HIAT has grown to include over 2000 students and grants degrees in fields including Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Management of Technology, Computer Sciences, Interior Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communications Design. HIAT has dozens of computer labs which support student and research projects.
HAIT serves the community and the nation in training a significant number of engineers who join high-tech industries, in absorbing new immigrants and in opening the doors to part-time students.
HAIT views its relationships with high-tech industries as an important facet of its activities, carried out through a number of channels: joint efforts in developing labs, research and development of unique courses of study, collaboration in student thesis projects, encouragement of students to join high-tech industries during the final stages of their studies, and scholarships for students granted by high-tech companies.
