Lenné3D is a German project for research in computer graphics, landscape
modeling and visualization. Since May 2002, the project has developed a system
for interactive 3D landscape visualization both from map view and from stroller’s
view. The 3D visualization system is supposed to support the dialogue on community
landscape planning and decision-making. In the course of three years, the interdisciplinary
project focuses on visualization of vegetation and GIS data as well as interactive
exploration and editing of spatial data.
Caché Campus Program Description:
Caché will be used to process data for modelling of vegetation in the
framework of the research project “Lenné 3D” by the German
Foundation for the Environment.
