The Institute of Computer Science is an R&D institute at Masaryk University in Brno responsible for the development of information and communication technologies at the University.
The Institute carries research and development activities in the area of information technologies with long-time research focus on digital libraries. The Institute also ensures, to a large extent, the functioning, development, co-ordination, and services in the implementation of ICT at MU in general, and, specifically, the functioning and development of academic computer networks and their incorporation into higher-level network infrastructure.
Caché and Ensemble of InterSystems will be used at Masaryk University in the research project UIRON - Implementation and Validation of Robust Knowledge Management and Analytical System for Oncology.
