Niš University, which was founded thirty-seven years ago, contains
13 different Faculties and is especially strong in the fields of engineering
and mathematics. The University of Niš has nearly 1,500 teaching staff
and a student body of over 27,000 including 433 foreign students.
Caché Campus Program Description:
Caché Campus will be introduced at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering,
which includes over 4,000 graduate, 428 master and 184 PhD students. In 2003,
this department, managed by dean Prof.
Dr. Gradimir V. Milovanovic ,
issued 18 major publications and hosted 6 international conferences and workshops.
The participation of Niš University in InterSystems’ worldwide
Caché Campus Program was started with an introductory training day
at the local site on December 9th, 2003.
Caché will be used in several database technology courses that include
hands-on laboratory training and tutorials. Additionally, Caché will
be the subject of several diploma and thesis projects.
