The University of Ostrava was established in 1991 and consists of four different faculties which 37 departments are grouped into. At the turn of 1997 the university already had 25 agreements of international cooperation with universities in Europe, America and Africa.

  1. Caché will be introduced within the following courses at the University of Ostrava:

    • Relational Databases – 4th semester of study

    • Object oriented programming II – 4th semester of study

    These lectures are attended by students of Computer Science, Applied Computer Science and Teacher of Computer Science for secondary schools.

  2. There will be another course (higher level): Designing Information Systems I and II (2 semesters after 6th semester of study)

  3. InterSystems will provide the necessary ACADEMIC licenses for the training of the students, initial training for the lecturers and documentation.
