The University of Economics, Prague (UEP) is a public university and was founded in 1919. The university is on the cutting edge of economic and business education in the Czech Republic and remains the most prestigious institution in the country for complete economics and business education at the Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral levels. UEP is composed of about 14,000 students who are served by 580 full-time faculty as well as 300 staff. 60 percent of UEP professors have Doctoral degrees in their field.
Faculty of Informatics and Statistics
This faculty has long been involved in the development and use of computers and mathematics in the field of economics. Students may select from two areas of specialization. The first, computer science, focuses on the use of computers in all sectors of the economy. The second, statistics, emphasizes the use of mathematical and statistical methods in the field of econometrics.
Caché Campus Program Description:
Caché classes will commence during the summer semester of 2004.
