The Institute of Music Science at Zurich University was founded in 1927, relatively late for the German-speaking world. Its first representative, Antoine-Elisée Cherbuiliez (1888-1964), from Mulhouse (France) established the institute in Zurich by his state doctorate in 1923.
Caché Campus Program Description:
Caché will be used as the basic application component for an online
search engine and database for research in Music Science being developed under
the auspices of the Swiss National Science foundation project, Music in Zurich.
